As Hadasity is a small design and art studio, Hadassah (the designer, artist and founder) is looking for a STUDIO ASSISTANT who is proactive and spontaneous, able to work independently and loves to take initiative with the willingness to help in all aspects of the growing business which includes assisting her in the various operational and logistical needs of running the business.

STUDIO ASSISTANT Hours and Job Description

PART TIME HOURS

  • 3-day work-week (Mon, Wed, Fri from 11am to 4pm) OR
    5 day work week (1 to 4pm) 

FULL TIME HOURS

  • 5 day work week (9.30am to 4pm)

For part-time or full-time,

  • There is an option of occasionally working from home as well depending on the needs of the day.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. 
  • Can start work immediately this week

This is an immediate opening, currently a part-time position which has potential to be converted to full time as the company grows and prepares for a retail flagship store next year.




Ad-Hoc Day to Day Job Scope would include but are not limited to:


PUBLIC COMMUNICATION

  • Create Marketing Collateral Content with Canva. ( IG, Shop, Emails etc)
  • Design with Hadasity’s aesthetic and occasional copywriting.
  • Help with social media planning and brainstorm photoshoots, campaigns featuring customers etc.
  • Reach out to Key Media Partners including planning for the campaign, coming up with strategies, planning on how to execute.
  • Create workshops and events to tie with companies, talks
  • Help with assisting Product/ Campaign Photography and Videography (setting up shoots, carrying equipment etc).

PEOPLE COMMUNICATION

  • Reach out to customers and partners with the voice of Hadasity.
  • Communicate with a heart of compassion and service.
  • Update Customers on Tracking number/ assisting customers with order and 
  • Facilitate online and offline customer experiences.

EVENTS and WORKSHOPS

  • Help with planning events in store for customers and workshops
  • Help to organize workshops and remind participants of workshop details and liaise with them on what to bring, directions and so forth.
  • Help at events, running the event, taking photos/ videos, helping customers and partners, packing orders etc.

DAILY STUDIO OPERATIONS

  • Check on the cleanliness of the studio
  • Prepare and pack online orders for pickup or delivery.
  • Handle in-store sales and online sales through shopify and pos systems
  • WIlling to do what is needed to do everything behind the scenes of an Ecommerce store getting ready for  retail store next year - tidying of display, steaming of clothing, wrapping orders, inventory management.
  • Create Barcodes and Add a system for inventory - SKUS to all new designs and products.
  • Help with project management and liaise with contractors, partners and customers. 
  • Manage daily operations involving logistics and inventory, which includes online order fulfillment, inventory management, merchandising and sales reporting.
  • Facilitate online and offline customer experiences.
  • Work closely in new product launches, promotions and other projects.
  • Assist with customer engagement, retail activities and other customer service related tasks.

MISC.

  • Admin duties such as sorting/billing/invoicing etc
  • Willingness to train others to do the same as we grow
  • Other duties as needed 





EXPERIENCE or QUALIFICATIONS

  • Loves people, Spontaneous (able to work on different things as according to the needs of the day versus doing the same routine everyday).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to use Canva, Photoshop, Google Suite
  • Detail-oriented. 
  • Interest in the fashion or arts industry.
  • Interested in working for a purpose driven business and in making an impact with your life in what you do.
  • Diploma/degree in fashion merchandising, marketing, mass communications, visual communications, business, or a related field would be preferred but not limited to.
  • Experience in Retail/ Fashion/ Arts/ Marketing would be preferred but not limited to it.
